Reading to Libby

You just never know who might get roped in to helping out at the school when you are teaching 4 grades in one classroom with two teachers. Today was Libby’s off day from working security at the gate. Libby decided to spend her morning at school lounging out our brick walkway. In order to keep Shane and Bongani occupied while their classmates finished up and assignment, I enlisted Libby’s assistance and sent the boys outside to read Libby a story.

I am sure it was much more enjoyable for the boys than for Libby, but since they were also petting her while they read, I am sure she didn’t mind too, terribly much.
