Exams Week…

by

This week was finals week for our class. The 6th and 7th grade students wrote two finals per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our grade 4 and 5 students wrote tests on Wednesday (math and English) and Thursday (science). I found one situation today quite funny so I thought i would tell you about it, but first you need some background information.
Commonly before meal time, you can hear all the neighbour children singing a common prayer before their meal. The prayer goes something like this, “For the food, we about…to receive…we thank you oh, Lord, Amen!” We have heard many variations of this song at different times, including my favourite, “For the food…we about…to DECEIVE….” But the best variation came from Shane today as I was passing out the science test to the class. Shane chimed out “For this test we about…to take…we pray, Oh Lord. Amen.”

It must have worked because Shane got a 100% on his test. I guess it’s a good example of taking EVERYTHING to God in prayer 8) .

It is always wise to pray for science tests!
