Swimming with the Shiks
One of our goals when Heather and I moved into this house is that it would be used to encourage and minister to our Bethesda families. We have really enjoyed using the house as place where the families can come together and be off the Bethesda property and have fun things to do together. It started out that we had to invite the families and encourage them to come, but now they have finally started coming to us and saying “we want to bring the children, when can we come?” and we LOVE it!
On the 27th of Dec. the Shikwambane family came to enjoy the pool and some nice fellowship together. we had a braii together and had a great time. Here are a few pictures from their time here. As you can see, both mom and dad got in on the swimming action (in spite of their inability to swim very well :)).
