Recent Ramblings

It has been a while since I’ve udpated. Sorry for the delay. I think I have an update ready to send out somewhere, but I can’t remember if I finished it and am waiting on someone to edit it or if it’s waiting to be finished. That should give you a tiny bit of insight into life as of late.

I’ve been reminded a lot of lately of these verses in Galatians 6 v. 9-10 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. ”
I also can’t seem to get the Watchmen song from Sovereign Grace out of my head,

“More than watchmen for the morning,
I will wait for you my God.
When the storm comes with no warning, in your word I put my trust.
When the harvest time is over, and I still see no fruit, I will wait, for YOU!”

I must confess that I have at recent times grown weary…weary with support raising and knowing that it continues to be at lower level than is needed, weary with discipline in my classroom, weary of changes, and overall just physically exhausted at times.

But, when the day is done, I do rejoice and be glad because this was a day that the Lord has made and I can delight in Him and in His provision of strength and shelter in His perfectly planned time.
